Armenia Art Fair

Armenia Art Fair is the only international art fair in the country. Therefore, it has truly become a gathering event for art professionals, collectors and art enthusiasts of all kind. Attendees mostly are from the Caucasus region but there is a growing international audience. The fair is dedicated to modern and contemporary art and focuses on painting and photography. However, visitors can also view and purchase some nice pieces of sculpture. Creating Armenia Art Fair, the two founders – Nina Festekjian and Zara Ouzounian-Halpin – wanted to develop the regional art market and to promote the country as a center for art. Secondly, both founders deeply cared about helping young talent. That’s the reason why the application fees are affordable and an extensive support is provided for exhibitors. Finally, the fair takes place annually in June, a month after the nearby Tbilisi Art Fair
