Art Brussels

One of the best known European contemporary art fairs, Art Brussels is a long-running event that was first launched in 1968. Arounf 25,000 visitors – art professionals, collectors, museum curators and simply curious – attend the April 4-day fair each year. Divided into 3 sections, approximately 150 top galleries exhibit in the ‘Discover’ sector that focuses on very recent pieces by lesser-known and emerging artists, the ‘Prime’ area presents established talents, and the ‘Rediscover’ section focusses on the 20th century art from under-estimated or forgotten artists. A programme of talks, tours and performances takes place over the weekend.
