FNB Art Joburg

FNB Art Joburg is a leading contemporary art fair in Africa which supports and promotes art for an entire continent. Local and international galleries, especially those with a connection to Africa, display their paintings and sculptures in a wide range of media. Along with collectors, art lovers, writers and artists, it is also a fair that attracts representatives from institutions such as the Tate and Pompidou Centre. FNB Art Joburg is an established event that has had more than 12 successful editions, and it continues to strengthen year after year. It takes place in September annually, and there is a programme of talks and discussions in the schedule. The 2019 edition, which adopted an invitation-only model, has been a turning point for the fair.
