Master Drawings New York

First launched in 2006, Master Drawings New York has grown to become a major show in the events calendar for work on paper. Held in the iconic Pierre hotel, it takes place late January, at the same time as major Old Master auctions and The Winter Show. The artwork displayed is very eclectic. Indeed, the participating galleries showcases drawings from all periods – ancient, modern and contemporary – that all celebrate Old Masters. Since 2018, sculpture from antiquity to modern time are displayed as well. Most of the 25 exhibitors are from the United States but some come from Europe. Additionally, the public can have access to a sharp program of talks and conversations, alongside the exhibition itself.
