Friends With Books is the Art Book Fair Berlin. This weekend festival celebrates art periodicals, books edited by artists and contemporary artist’s books. It was founded in 2014 to promote art publications and to engage a new audience for the genre. It has since quickly become a popular show. Indeed, more than 200 exhibitors participate every year. Additionnally, Friends With Books organises readings, performances, discussions and lectures inviting the public to explore contemporary artistic publication. Finally, there are limited edition book signings also featured at the show. It takes place in Berlin in late September, during the popular Berlin Art Week, at the samle time for instance as POSITIONS.
