PHOTOFAIRS San Francisco presents exceptional fine art photographs and photography-based art pieces that have been carefully curated for their innovative flair. First only held in Shanghai, PHOTOFAIRS arrived in San Francisco early 2017. The Californian show has an intimate vibe and appeals to collectors of high-end video, film and photography. Featuring around 40 galleries from all over the globe, PHOTOFAIRS is a cutting-edge platform entirely dedicated to the photographic medium. It truly aims to promote experimental work. That is the reason why exhibitors are encouraged to showcase asian and latin american artists, shining an international spotlight on them. Offering contemporary art, this boutique event is ideal for collectors. Alongside the trade exhibition itself, there are an interesting program of talks and artist book signings.
