LOOP Barcelona
First launched in 2003, LOOP Barcelona is a fair dedicated to artists’ film, video and performances. The moving image artwork displayed is showcased by both Spanish and international galleries. A true key point is that it has previously been vetted by a selection comitee to ensure its originality and its authenticity. As LOOP Barcelona has created a framework for specialists in this field, it thus helps to support the artists and promote their work. Many of the films are shown in unique settings as part of the experience. Additionally, there are discussions programmed as part of this exciting show. LOOP is one of the two international art fairs held in the city, with Swab Barcelona.
