Sustainable Design China Summit
First launched in 2018, Sustainable Design China Summit is the sister edition of Design Shanghai created in 2014. Both are part of the massive group Clarion Events. The fair focuses on each and every aspects of design with a wide range of pieces exhibited. Indeed visitors can admire and purchase design furniture, orginal ceramics, lightnings, soft rugs, bathroom pieces, wall art and much more, from the world’s hottest brand. Thus, the show gathers over 20,000 prominent collectors, decorators, interior designers, curators and architects. Sustainable Design China Summit is an adult-only fair as the entrance is not allowed for people under 16 years old. A not-to-be-missed event for all design lovers.

What would you say is the DNA of Design China Beijing?
Design China Beijing debuted in 2018 in response to a burgeoning new design market in China’s capital, championed by leading architecture practices, design studios and China’s best academic institutions. The show takes an academic and research-led approach to design with significant focus on sustainability, creating a unique dialogue between exhibiting brands and industry professionals.
What type of galleries are chosen to exhibit, and why?
Design galleries and limited-edition design piece. Architects and interior designers are the biggest buyer in China for limited edition design pieces.
What is the price range of pieces? Who is the average buyer?
Average 200,000 RMB. Architects and Interior designers.
