ARCOmadrid

Big sister of ARCOlisboa, ARCOmadrid is a long-standing art fair that is continuously evolving. First held in 1982, the fair showcases more than 200 galleries from 30 countries with each year a special guest country. Each year a theme is introduced to encourage fresh thinking and innovation. ARCOmadrid displays exciting modern and contemporary art work from across Europe and Latin America, and attracts critics, collectors and simply curious from around the world. In current years, more than 200 galleries exhibit work for sale with a main section, and smaller, curated sections. ARCOmadrid offers attendees the opportunity to discover art from a variety of generations, with all the work being of a high standard. The media used in the wall art and sculptural pieces is wide ranging, and the event is a place where art lovers can find something totally new.
