Texas Contemporary
Held in the heart of Houston, Texas Contemporary is an art fair dedicatede to cutting-edge contemporary art. It displays indeed a wide range of exciting artworks as sculptures, painting, lithographs, mixed-media pieces and art installations. There are many established artists represented but also emerging ones as the fair truly aims to promote young talent. It showcases about 75 galleries international galleries from Houston, the rest of the US, Asia and Europe. Thus, collectors gather from all over the world and each edition attracts over 10,000 visitors. Additionally to the exhibition itself, there is a program of tours, talks, screenings and presentations on offer. Finally, Texas contemporary is part of Art Market Productions, created in 2011. The group also runs five other fairs: The MFA Fair, Art on Paper, Art Market San Francisco, Art Market Hamptons and Seattle Art Fair.
