For this 11th edition, artgenève brang together at Palexpo 90 international galleries, including some regulars at the fair, such as Gagosian, Thaddaeus Ropac, Waddington Custot, Almine Rech, Perrotin, Capitain Petzel, Applicat Prazan, von Bartha, 1900-2000, Templon, Eva Presenhuber, Nathalie Obadia, Tornabuoni Art, and Continua. The institutional and curatorial offer, a true trademark of artgenève, offered a rich programme of exhibitions this year, going beyond the framework of the contemporary art market. The fair featured the presence of the Museum Frieder Burda in Baden-Baden, the Fondation Jean Dubuffet in Paris, the Serpentine Galleries in London, the Ringier Collection in Zurich, the Musée du quai Branly and the Parisian artist residency POUSH. Finally, artgenève/estates presented an installation of several works by the English artist Barry Flanagan in a vast and original setting. A programme of conferences was also organised throughout the week, in connection with the Salon’s institutional proposal.
