After last year’s sold-out edition, Frieze New York returned to the Shed in Manhattan. The fair brung together 65 galleries and the most influential and talked about artists. In keeping with its tradition, the fair featured a strong core of New York galleries and the artists they represent. New director Christine Messineo, also announced the return of The Frame section, which supports galleries with ten years or less of existence to present solo work by today’s most important artists. In addition, a special edition of Frieze Viewing Room run alongside the fair, connecting international galleries with audiences around the world.
