Liste Art Fair

Founded is 1996, Liste Art Fair Basel is an edgy show on the art world’s calendar. This week-long fair takes place in June during the Basel Art Week, at the same time as the unmissable Art Basel. About 80 international galleries participate every year. They mostly showcase contemporary art from newcomers. Thus, much of the work exhibited represents the latest developments in art. Additionally, pieces from developing countries and emerging artists are given space each year providing them with a chance to be discovered by new audiences. LISTE is held in the former Wartek Brewery building – a 5-storey space that lends a unique atmosphere to the art show. Each room of the fair offers something different as the art work is presented in response to the architecture of the setting.
