Plaza Art Fair
Plaza Art Fair is a major event on Kansas City’s calendar. This huge fair was founded back in 1932, originally to attract people into the area. Over the years, it has become a large outdoor festival celebrating art, artists, music and food. It truly is an opportunity to talk with the 250 artists displaying and selling their work, in a cheerful and god-natured atmosphere. Just about every art form is available there, including paintings, metal work, glassware, jewelry, textile and sculptures. Alongside the trade exhibition itself, there are 3 live music stages and plenty of stalls selling food and drink. That is the reason why, as other outdoors fairs as Art Fair On The Square or Ann Arbor Art Fair, Plaza Art Fair is a highly popular event. Indeed, more than 250,000 visitors come to enjoy the 3-day event that takes place in September every year.
