SP-Arte: Rotas Brasileiras
In 2022, SP–Foto, the traditional August event, grew to encompass multiple artistic languages. Focusing on selected projects, whether solo or collective, Rotas Brasileiras seeks to strengthen ties between the five regions of the country, valuing diversity and the artistic production of the entire Brazilian territory. For its launching edition, the new SP-Arte fair occupied the ARCA, in Vila Leopoldina, where gathered 70 international galleries and guest projects that expand the vision of Brazil. For Fernanda Feitosa, founder and director of Rotas Brasileiras, “the galleries embraced the challenge of making a fair with a thematic axis and the result was very qualitative booths and delighted audiences.” She also confirms the desire to repeat the dose next year: “The good reception and the success of the fair motivate us to repeat this experience to discover new artists and travel to other destinations within Brazil in August 2023”.
