Texas Contemporary
The city of Houston hosts the Texas Contemporary fair every year which presents 75 galleries displaying exciting works from emerging and established artists. Exhibitors from Houston, the rest of the US, Asia and Europe are all gathering at this fair that attracts serious collectors. Texas Contemporary features sculptures, installations, lithographs and mixed-media pieces, as well as tours, talks, screenings and presentations on offer. With over 10,000 visitors expected over the weekend of the fair, Texas Contemporary has become an established annual art event, which takes place in the George R Brown Convention Centre.
