The Manchester Contemporary
This contemporary art fair, held each October, showcases individual artists, as well as UK and international galleries. The Manchester Contemporary is hailed as the most prestigious art fair in the north of England and offers un-represented artists a chance to have their work discovered. Artists who face challenges getting seen by the mainstream art world can be appreciated at Manchester Contemporary alongside established talent. The fair was founded in 2008, and continues to adopt and evolve with changes in contemporary art. As a result, newcomers who are unfamiliar with art fairs are attracted to the event each year.
