The Manchester Contemporary
The Manchester Contemporary is a art fair that showcases individual artists, as well as both UK and international galleries. The fair was founded in 2008, and continues to adopt and evolve with changes in contemporary art. As a result, newcomers who are unfamiliar with art fairs are attracted to the event each year. The show is indeed hailed as the most prestigious art fair in the north of England and offers un-represented artists a chance to have their work discovered. Artists who face challenges getting seen by the mainstream art world can be appreciated at The Manchester Contemporary alongside established talent. The show takes place every year in October, at the same time as Aviva Investors Manchester Art Fair.
