Taking place for the fourth time in June 2023 during Basel Art Week, paper positions basel + invites international galleries to apply with their most important positions from contemporary and modern art. Emerging from paper positions, all artistic media can now be presented at paper positions basel +. However, a focus on the medium of paper is to be maintained. With its special fair concept without classic booths, paper positions basel + continues to deliberately focus on a salon-like situation with continuous exhibition walls. The limited number of exhibitors also underlines the character of a large theme-based exhibition. The spatial design offers an open overview as well as the possibility to directly approach individual artistic works and to perceive them in a mutual dialogue. There are in total 5 fairs run by the same group in Germany and Switzerland: paper positions berlin, paper positions hamburg, paper positions frankfurt, paper positions munich and paper positions basel.
