17 – 19 January 2020
Taipei Dangdai
Taipei Dangdai is a brand new art fair for 2019. It has been launched to get away from the top heavy fairs that are more common in Asia. The show wants to be more accessible and a place where the public feel comfortable buying contemporary art. Between 80 and 100 galleries are expected to bring their work to the fair each year, and the show is being divided into 4 parts. There’s a ‘Galleries’ section, ‘Young Galleries’ area, a ‘Solos’ space and a ‘Salon’ section which will bring more affordable pieces into focus. Galleries from all over the world will be at Taipei Dangdai and the art will be formed in all contemporary styles.
