Tefaf Maastricht

The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF) is the fair of all superlatives. Since its creation in 1988, it has become one of the most awaited art shows. About 70 000 visitors abound every year to admire “museum quality” pieces that cover 7 000 years of art history. For 10 days, the small town of Maastricht, Netherlands, where the fair is held, becomes the beating heart of the art market. TEFAF runs two other fairs: TEFAF New York Spring, focused on modern and contemporary art & design, and TEFAF New York Fall, covering fine and decorative art from antiquity to 1920.
