Contemporary Art Ruhr
Contemporary Art Ruhr has been first launched in 2006. This long-running event holds two different fairs. First, there is the PHOTO/MEDIA ART FAIR in Spring time dedicated to photography and visual arts. Second, there is autumn the INNOVATIVE ART FAIR for all kinds of contemporary art. Both take place in the iconic Zollverein Unesco World Heritage Site, in Essen, nearby Düsseldorf which holds Art Dusseldorf. Contemporary Art Ruhr is very popular. Indeed collectors, art professionals and art enthusiasts gather to enjoy high-quality artwork and discover fresh affordable pieces. Above all C.A.R. is renowned for its good-natured atmosphere that encourage people to meet and share ideas.
