FAB Paris
In February 2022, two leading French art fairs – La Biennale Paris, one of the world’s oldest art fairs formerly known as La Biennale des Antiquaires and the fast-growing Fine Arts Paris – announced that they had merged to create a new annual flagship event in Paris celebrating art from the Antiquity to present day. The same year, the inaugural edition of Fine Arts Paris & La Biennale took place at the prestigious Carrousel du Louvre. In 2023, Fine Arts Paris & La Biennale becomes FAB PARIS and moves to the Grand Palais Ephémère. The 2024 edition will take place in the renovated Grand Palais. The Agence d’Événements Culturels, which also manages the Salon du Dessin is responsible for organizing FAB Paris. Visitors and collectors can discover in the booths carefully selected artworks spanning no fewer than 14 categories, including Antiquities, Old Masters, Antique Furniture, Modern & Contemporary Art, Tapestries, Ceramics, Jewellery but also Tribal Art, Asian Art, Islamic Art and Books & Manuscripts.

We start with very low prices for the “5 jeunes talents” (less than €10,000) and several thousand euros for works of modern art, for instance.

What strategy – physical as digital – will you adopt in medium to long term?
We have a very wide-ranging communication strategy, including poster campaign, paper ads and even a catalogue, which is rare in other fairs now. We also share contents on the website fabparis.com, on social media and newsletters.
What are two other art fairs you would suggest?
We would suggest the high-quality fair Paris+ because we appreciate that Art Basel is coming to Paris, and the Salon du Dessin as well.
