Art Athina
A long-standing, contemporary art show, Art Athina was first established in 1993 but was rebranded in 2017 and given a fresh direction. There are currently different sections that divide the artwork with a main section, an emerging gallery section, a tribute area and a video section. Bringing together Greek and international galleries, the fair is curated to offer an exciting collection of work that is waiting to be discovered by a new audience. Various visitors attend Art Athina, like curators, art dealers, collectors, art enthusiats and simply curious. Along with paintings, drawings and photographs, there are thematic collections and installations on display. A series of talks and performances are also organised during the event that takes place in June annually. With Art Thessaloniki taking place in November, Art Athina is the only art fair in Greece.
