
Biennale di Firenze
The prestigious BIAF – Biennale Internazionale dell’Antiquariato di Firenze – takes place every 2 years since its first launch in 1959. It happens at the same time as the Florence Biennale, dedicated to contemporary art. The BIAF showcases the very finest ancient Italian art, with a wide range of artworks. Indeed, visitors can view and purchsae Old Master paintings, antique ceramics, bronze and marble sculptures, rugs, fine silver, jewellery, and much more. The fair aims to promote and support Italian art and craftsmanship with great success. Thus, approximately 77 galleries exhibit at this show providing a wide range of highly sought-after items. Above all, the quality and the authencity is guaranteed by a vetting comprising high-profile art historians, who expertise each and every pieces displayed. Collectors can thus buy art in total confidence. Finally, temporary exhibitions and talks are taking place alongside the fair in the iconic Palazzo Corsini.
