Edina Art Fair
Held in the streets of Edina, Minnesota, this art fair is a huge 3-day show. Thus, around 280 artists from Minnesota and the rest of the USA display and sell their work directly to collectors, in a cheerful and good-natured atmosphere. As for the nearby Uptown Art Fair, the streets are ligned with hundreds of colourful booths. The variety of work on offer is very diverse with something for every taste and budget. There are for instance photographs, paintings, carvings, textiles and jewels available, as well as a number of craft stalls. Edina Art Fair has been running for more than 50 years and truly is a much-anticipated event. Indeed, approximately 250,000 people visit it each year. Additionnally, prizes are awarded to artists in different categories. Finally, along with the trade exhibition, there are entertainment, live music, a kid’s zone, beer stands and street food on offer.
