San Francisco Tribal & Textile Art Show

The San Francisco Tribal and Textile Art Show has been running for more than 3 decades in California. This leading show promotes art and textiles from tribal cultures and the indigenous people of Africa, Oceania, Indonesia and the Americas. The range of pieces that can be discovered and purchased at this show is truly varied. Displayed by 70 international dealers, there are indeed rugs, wall hangings, textiles, sculpture, carvings, pottery, basketry and more. The artefacts and objects offered are pre-historic, antique and modern, all produced using techniques that are traditional to the people. Another key point is that the fair focuses an annual feature. For example, the event has shone a spotlight in the past on one specific country. Additionally, book signings and talks are also part of the programme. The fair’s producers also own The American Indian Art Show San Francisco.
