The Chicago Show: Antiques & Art & Modern
In 2017, The Chicago Show: Antiques & Art & Modern was launched to fill a gap. Indeed, the city was previously without a fair of this calibre. At the fair, 75 national and international galeries display beautifully laid out booths. Not to mention that these are filled with fine antiques and decorative art. Attendees are diverse, with for instance collectors, art dealers, artists, interior designers and simply courious. They can view and amire there paintings, ceramics, glassware, silver, jewellery, furniture and more, from antiquity to the 20th century. Additonnally, the fair is also a social event with gala evenings and cocktail parties benefiting charities. In brief, Chicago Antiques + Art + Design Show is an event that should not be missed in the Windy City. Its sister fair – Houston Antiques + Art + Design Show – takes place annually in November.

Who is the typical attendee of The Chicago Show?
True collectors, dealers and designers. The show is held in the historic Merchandise Mart in Chicago and there is a real connection with the design community.
What strategy – physical as digital – will you adopt in medium to long term?
Physical is the main strategy we offer. I can’t imagine anyone buying a great piece of art or furniture or jewelry without seeing it, touching it and falling in love with it when they see it.
