Shanghai International Art Fair

First launched in November 2019, the Shanghai International Art Fair focuses on Chinese contemporary art. Part of the Yangtze River Delta International Industries Expo, the fair is organised by the Global Art Agency. In just a year, the show has built a strong reputation in the art market. Indeed, more than 80,000 visitors – collectors, curators, art dealers and curious – has visited it in 2019. Thousands of high-quality pieces are showcased in the 54,000 sqm of the National Exhibition and Convention Center Shanghai (NECC). The range of mediums is various: painting, sculpture, photography, art installation and more. There truly is a good-natured atmosphere as the fair doesn’t take itself too seriously. A very pleasant trade exhibition to attend for all art lovers, just a week after the blue-chip fairs ART021 and West Bund.
